Chapter 1118
In the past, the folks who made it into the medical base were mainly from M country and a bunch of medical
organizations. These were places known for their fighting spirit. Everyone there, men and women alike, were
tough as nails. Not like the Austenberg crowd, with Ronald was a bit on edge; for his first class, he hadn't really
planned on teaching Luiz and the crew much. His main goal was to check out what they were made of. So,
Ronald had them bring in a sniper rifle. "Here's the K-215 model sniper rifle. Your job is to hit the

bullseye on a target twenty meters away. A perfect score is ten rings."
Pretty basic stuff, really. Back in the day, Ronald would've had rookies shooting at moving targets from the get-
go. But knowing Austenberg's strict gun laws, where regular folks rarely get to handle a firearm, unlike in M
country, where everyone practically grows up with a gun in hand, he cut them sslack.
Even with lowered expectations, Luiz and his buddies still managed to let him down. Ronald had the boys go

Someone even completely missed the target. The square was packed during class time, and when folks saw this,
laughter erupted.
"Haha, can you believe people can be this bad at shooting?"
"Think they'd cry if | punched them?"
"Are these the geniuses Austenberg has to offer? What a bunch of losers!"
"Trash! Trash! Westerners!"
"The Westerners are rubbish!"
The foreign crowd mocked them loudly, even getting into snational-level insults. Luiz and the others turned
all shades of red and white, their hands shaking hard as they gripped their rifles. Selene was seething; nobody
likes their homeland getting dragged through the mud! Flora's face turned icy, her stare growing colder by the
second.
"Kylie, check out Flora and her crew, they're a real laugh," Tina said, tears of laughter streaming down her face.
"With skills like that, they think they'll stick around the medical base? They probably won't survive the entrance
test."
Kylie joined in, her eyes full of mockery. Austenberg folks really were terrible at shooting.
"What's so funny?" Ronald's powerful voice cut through the noise, quieting the crowd a bit, though the snickers
didn't stop completely.
"See that? You're dragging your
country's nthrough the dirt with your lack of skills," Ronald said, his gaze sweeping over Luiz and company,
his expression as stern as ever if you had any talent, you wouldn't be laughed at like this."
"Instructor, what do you mean by talent? This thing?" Flora's voice was dripping with sarcasm, cutting through
just as Ronald finished.

Ronald frowned. He wasn't thrilled
with Flora's attitude. What did she mean by 'this thing'? Was she
disrespecting the art of shootingzet
You can only afford to be that dismissive when you've got the skills to back it up, and from what he saw,
their skills were serious the g
"You're Flora, right? Heard you're a bit of a troublemaker," Ronald said, flipping through the roster. "Don't bring
that attitude here." "Around here, it's all about skill. If you've got it, shoot a perfect ten rings. If not, with that
tone of yours, you can run ten laps around the square." "Ten rings?" Flora raised an eyebrow. "Is that supposed
to be hard?"
"Yeah, right, if it's so easy, why don't you give it a shot?"
"If you can hit ten rings, even once, I'll kneel and call you 'dad"!" taunted someone from the medical team, not
holding back on the ridicule.
